Focus On Africa & Middle East Institutions

Our educational services are focused on under-resourced educational institutions of all levels located throughout Africa and the Middle East. To serve this purpose, we rely on a vast network of professional distribution partners and content partners all of whom have made a major effort to make available world class content accessible and affordable by any institution regardless of its size or financial possibilities. We pursue a social mission, as a result, a portion of all our income is destined to support charities in Africa. A detailed list is provided in the Charity Partners section.

Charity Partners

The following charities are the recipient of a portion of our income. They all have in common their efforts to improve social welfare in Africa‘s most needed geographies:

Achieve in Africa (www.achieveinafrica.org)

Achieve in Africa was created in September of 2008 after witnessing the distressed state and lack of schools in Shinyanga and Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. On this initial trip in 2007, one of our founders, Brendan Callahan, raised money for schools lacking basic supplies such as pens, paper, and books.

He was inspired by the enthusiasm the students had for learning, despite their lack of resources. This experience fueled a desire to better equip these and similarly disadvantaged children with the supplies and facilities to reach their full potential.

AIA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and provides the resources needed for children in Africa to make the full use of their education and choose their own path in life. We strive to give these children the building blocks they need to succeed in the rest of their lives.

Paper for All (www.paper4all.org)

Paper for All (http://www.paper4all.org) provides academic resources to improve the learning conditions of children (6-14 years old) in several elementary schools in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. The non-profit aims to support education to enable greater development. Paper for All is registered as a non profit in the US (501 (c) (3)), in the UK, France and Burkina Faso.

Stand Up For Africa (www.standupforafrica.org.uk)

Stand Up For Africa (SUFA) is a UK-based, African-led charity working with Africans and friends of Africa to support community-led development projects in Africa. These projects seek to:

  • Improve access to education.
  • Improve health and well-being.
  • Promote and protect the rights of children, young people and women.
  • Provide opportunities for income generation.

Develop Africa (www.developafrica.org)

Develop Africa is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, non-governmental (NGO) organization founded with the aim of facilitating meaningful and sustainable development in Africa. Develop Africa is headquartered in Tennessee, USA. Our focus is on impacting and changing lives.

Vision - Through training, scholarship, investment and partnerships Develop Africa is committed to developing Africa’s people through the promotion of transformational education, resource development, investment training and strategic empowerment. Our premise is based on the notion that in order to change one’s personal, national or organizational status there must necessarily be a “change in the thinking and processing pattern of the mind.”
